This Privacy Policy explains how Villa Reels ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares personal data when you use our website and service. We act as the data controller for the data described here.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: your name, email and authentication details when you sign up.
• Workspace & billing data: your team, plan, credit balance, and payment records (card details are handled by Stripe, not stored by us).
• Your Content: the photos you upload or import, the villas you add, and the reels we generate for you.
• Support data: messages you send us and the reels they relate to.
• Usage & device data: basic logs, IP address and browser information needed to run and secure the service.

2. How we use your data

• to provide the service, generate, store and deliver your reels;
• to process payments and manage your credits and subscription;
• to send transactional emails (sign-in, receipts, notifications);
• to provide support and respond to your requests;
• to secure the service, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.

3. Who we share data with

We share data only with the processors needed to run the service, each under their own data-protection terms:

• Supabase: database, authentication and file storage (hosting in the EU).
• Stripe: payment processing and billing.
• AI providers: to classify your photos, generate video and compose music. Your photos are sent to these providers solely to produce your reels.
• Email & infrastructure providers: to send emails and host the application.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

5. Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You can delete your reels and villas at any time; deleting your account removes your associated data, subject to records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under the GDPR) you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@villareels.com.

7. Security

We use access controls, row-level security and encryption in transit to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to notify you of incidents where required.

8. Children

The service is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time and will notify you of material changes through the service or by email.
